Exercise tips to get a six pack

After 20 years of drinking 6 pack after 6 pack I had finally had enough. Two years ago I was in my early forties I was unemployed and 40 pounds overweight. I had had enough and decided that I was taking my life back. Today I have dropped the weight and have completely turned my life around. How? Let me tell you.

1. Lifting weights. I got a membership to a gym and began lifting weights. The more muscle you have the more fat you burn. So, while walking or running or doing any of the other cardio exercises is good, you should always be lifting weights.
2. Cardio. No surprise here. Cardio exercises burn fat. I started out by running on a treadmill but then moved to the stair master because it also builds your leg muscles
3. Let’s not forget that you are what you eat. I stopped drinking beer. I also stopped eating processed foods. Processed foods have A LOT of bad things for you so the further you stay away from them the better. My wife lost 40-50 pound by just cutting soda from her diet. Our society is really designed to make people fat with the sedentary lifestyle and processed foods with low nutritional value. Eat things like raw vegetables and fruit. Eat fish, chicken and lean beef. Pack your lunch rather than stopping at a fast food restaurant.

Now, what about those six pack abs? Weight lifting, cardio and nutrition are essential. However, there’s a secret that not too many people know about. I have recently changed my workout routine and am doing things differently. I’m spending less time working out but seeing faster results because I have been able to increase my metabolism. Want to find out how? Take a look at The Truth About Six Pack Abs. I was glad I did and you will be too. Click Here!

Effective ab workouts

Are you looking for an effective ab workout that burns fat and really shows off your abs? Have you tried all the typical ab workouts but just haven’t had any success? Well I’ve got just the thing for you. It’s guaranteed to raise your metabolism and burn fat and, you never would have guessed what the workout is in a million years…

You see, the problem with most ab workouts is that they target the abs. This is fine if you want to waste a lot of time and get little in return. The thing is, you can’t spot reduce fat on your abs just like you can’t spot reduce fat on your left arm. Even if you could, those exercises don’t do too much to burn calories or, more importantly, raise your resting rate of metabolism.

So, if you think about it, while traditional ab workouts like sit ups and crunches are effective at strengthening the ab muscles, they are very ineffective at burning the fat that covers them.

So, what is an effective ab workout that strengthens the abs as well as burns fat? Here’s the surprise. You want to work muscles that have no apparent connection with the abs. By doing compound exercises that work multiple muscle groups at the same time you will raise your body’s resting metabolism rate so you will be burning more calories even after your workout. You will also be building muscle and the more muscle you have the more fat you will burn.

So, what are these so called compound exercises anyway? I’ll tell you. Ready?

Dead lift, Romanian dead lift, Squats, Lunges, Bench press, Clean and press, One handed dumb bell snatch, Military press and a number of others.

Easy workouts - 6 pack abs

Looking for some easy workouts to get 6 pack abs? Don’t want to do a thousand sit ups? Maybe you even want some secret cheats as well. OK, I’ll spill the beans.

You can do sit ups and crunches if you want but they really won’t help. Why? Because they don’t burn fat. You are only going to get 6 pack abs if you get below a certain percentage of body fat. Ten percent for a man and sixteen percent for a woman to be exact. To do this you need to raise your metabolism rate and put on muscle. Did you know that the more muscle you have thee more fat you will burn? Well, it’s true. And, of course, the more fat you burn the sooner you will see your six pack abs.

So, what exercises will do that? Well, you will be happy to hear that you don’t have to spend hours and hours a day in the gym working out every single muscle in your body with a different exercise. You can spend just a half hour doing compound exercises that work multiple muscle groups at the same time. These are exercises like squats, and dead lifts, bench press and the clean and jerk besides others. That wasn’t too difficult was it?

Let’s see, what other easy exercises are there? Would you rather run a shorter distance than a longer distance? I thought so. Even though running longer distances burns more calories than sprints, sprinting increases your metabolism and allows you to burn more calories even if you’re just watching TV.

Pretty easy, right? OK, now I’ll give you two even easier things to do to burn fat so that you can get 6 pack abs. Drink lots of green tea. Researchers have found that it increases your metabolism and burns fat. Take cayenne pepper capsules. It has been found that cayenne pepper increases your metabolism for up to 4 yours. So take a capsule before you work out.

Daily exercise suggestions

Are you just starting to get back into shape and need some suggestions on what to do on a daily basis? Sometimes it can be difficult to find the time even though you’ve got the motivation. So let’s talk about ways to make the most of your exercises and fit them into your busy day.

Cardio
Think you have to spend an hour on the treadmill every day to lose weight? While, it is true, the longer you spend on the treadmill the more calories you will burn. You can actually increase your metabolism (and burn more calories throughout the day) by doing 10 short sprints a day. Try doing 10 50 – 100 meter dashes for 20 – 30 minutes a day and you will burn more calories even when you are watching TV.

Weight lifting
Don’t have time to go to the gym? Do you need to fit your exercise into the nooks and crannies of your day while the kids are napping? No problem. By doing compound exercises with just your body weight or a pair of dumbbells you can, again, increase your metabolism and improve your shape. Compound exercises are those that work more than one muscle group at a time. The most beneficial are as follows: Bench press, squats, deadlift, Romanian deadlift, lunges, military press and clean and jerk. This may sound intimidating but, remember you can do all these exercises by starting out with your body weight and you don’t have to do them all at once or even on the same day.

During each day you have pockets of time that go unused. If you think about it you can find creative ways to implement these exercises and be seeing the difference in your appearance fairly quickly. If you would like to find out more about these exercises and nutrition as well Click Here!

Best Exercises for a flat abdomen

Hey, are you looking for the best exercises for a tight, toned, flat abdomen? Have you spent hours and hours doing all the things you think you are supposed to be doing for a flat abdomen? Leg raises and crunches, sit ups and a wide variety of other things and…still no luck?
All those exercises you see people doing are good exercises to strengthen your stomach muscles, no doubt about that. They just don’t do too much to reduce fat. And, this is the secret, if you’ve got even a little bit of flab on your stomach you are never going to see your nice flat abdomen.
You may find this surprising even a little counterintuitive, but the best exercises are not even going to focus on your abdomen, at least not directly. The exercises you want to do are ones that work multiple muscle groups at the same time. Exercises like the bench press and the clean and jerk, dumb bell snatches, squats and dead lifts and bent over rows are really good for raising your resting metabolism rate and burning fat long after the workout is over. They are also great for building muscle which allows you to burn more fat and, last but not least, they inadvertently work the core muscles of your torso which include your abdomen.

Best exercise for a flat tummy

Want to know the best exercises for a toned and flat tummy? Is it sit ups? No, it’s got to be crunches. Or, how about leg lifts?
While those are good exercises to strengthen your stomach muscles the problem is that they don’t do too much to reduce fat. And, too much fat around the midsection is most everybody’s problem when it comes to showing off a flat tummy.
So, what are the best exercises then for a flat tummy?
Well, this is going to sound surprising, but the best exercises are ones that work your arms and legs…and a few other muscle groups…including your core, or torso, which includes, yes, your tummy. These are exercises like the bench press and the clean and jerk, squats and dead lifts. The reason that these exercises are so good is because they inadvertently work the core muscles of your back and tummy. They also serve to increase your body’s metabolism so that you are burning more calories even when you are not working out.
Is that it? Just lifting weights? No cardio?
Well, certainly, do your cardio as well. But, no need to spend hours and hours running miles. What? You heard me. While running a mile does burn more calories than running ten 100 meter sprints, the sprints also serve to increase your resting metabolism rate just as the exercises above. Consequently, you are burning more calories throughout the day which, in time, will reveal your flat tummy.
