Want to get rock hard abs in little or no time? Or, perhaps you’ve got little or no time to devote but you still want rock hard abs? Well, whatever the case you will want to know some things that may surprise you about getting your rock hard abs.

Sit ups, leg lifts, crunches and a number of other exercises will give you rock hard abs. the problem is that you still won’t see them if they are obscured by a layer of fat. Exercises that build stomach muscles actually do little to burn fat. This is because you cannot spot reduce fat on your belly just as much as you can’t spot reduce fat on your chin.

1. Nutrition. You don’t have to go on a diet. Just change your eating habits to avoid processed foods. Snack on fresh veggies, fruits and nuts. Eat lean beef, chicken and fish.
2. Start drinking a lot of green tea. Researchers have found that, besides a host of other benefits, green tea helps to increase your metabolism which will help you burn fat even when you are watching TV.
3. Take cayenne pepper capsules. Yes, this simple spice has the ability to increase your metabolism up to two to four hours.
4. Do sprints. Don’t have an extra hour to spend running around the track. Do teen 100 meter sprints. This puts the body into a state of shock and it responds by increasing your metabolism.
5. Lift weights. You don’t have to spend hours in the gym. If you spend a half hour doing exercises like the bench press, military press, squats, dead lifts, clean and jerk and others, you will be working out multiple muscle groups at the same time and helping to increase your metabolism as well.
