Lower ab workouts

Have you been spending hours isolating one group of muscles from another in order to get a perfectly cut set of abs? I’ve got a secret for you. You can’t isolate your lower ab muscles from your middle or upper ab muscles.

Now, I’ve got another secret for you. You can’t spot reduce belly fat any more than you can spot reduce fat on your chin. This is why, even though you’ve been working like a madman, you can’t see the results.

In order to see your abs men must get below 10% body fat and women must get below 16%. You will simply not be able to generate enough energy with exercises that isolate your abs to burn the kind of fat needed to see your abs.

To work your abs you need to work your entire body. The following exercises will work all the muscles in your body including your abs because the core muscles of your body are required for balance. On top of that that, these exercises will increase your resting rate of metabolism for days afterward so that you are getting the calorie burning effects of the workout well into the future.

1. Military Press.
2. Clean and jerk.
3. Dead lift.
4. Squats.
5. Romanian dead lift.
6. Lunges.

While these exercises may appear simple, looks can be deceiving. They will leave you quickly winded and increase your metabolism for 1-2 days after.
