Top ten ab workouts

The top ten ab workouts may surprise you because they don’t include sit ups or crunches. They don’t include leg lifts or knee raises or any of the other traditional ad exercises. The reason is that, while these are great exercises for building ab muscles they don’t do much to deal with the problem that most of us face; belly fat.

To get great abs you need to reduce belly fat. However, you can’t reduce your belly fat without reduce your overall body fat percentage and traditional ab workouts do very little to do that.

So, are you ready for the top ten ab workouts? OK, here goes.

1. Dead lift
2. Romanian dead lift
3. Squats
4. Lunges
5. Bench press
6. Military press
7. Clean and press
8. Dumb bell snatches
9. Wind sprints
10. Renegade rows
Surprised? I thought so. Why are these exercises the best ab workouts, they don’t even work the abs?
Well, these are the best ab workouts for a number of reasons. First, these workouts will help you to build muscle throughout your body. The more muscle you have the more fat you burn and, the more fat you burn, the easier it is to see your abs. Second, these workouts cause you to exert so much effort that your body actually goes through a metabolic shift and you will burn more calories over the next few days than you would have before you did the workout. Finally, these workouts actually do work the abs, just indirectly. Because they are working multiple muscle groups at the same time they are working the muscles of your torso as well, which include your abs. There are plenty of other workouts you can do to get great abs. If you are interested Click Here!
